Mother Goose and his last race

Dear Friends,

As some of you know. Guus Toth (Mother Goose) suffers from a brain tumor since spring 2002. The way he reacted on the treatments, gave us all the impression, that he could win this fight.

But last weekend he suffered from a heavy epileptic attack of which he didn't recover completely.

It looks like Guus is driving his last race now. A race he can not win.

Doctors say he has only a few days to live.

It is not right!!!

I will keep you informed about his condition.

BAD...BAD...VERY BAD NEWS ! LIFE IS REALLY UNFAIR !

I met him several times and exchanded some emails with him. I knew about his situation but had really some hopes to meet him again during the next years at one of the NSX meeting.

I am so shocked that I don't know what to say !

Guss, if you don't recover and things turn bad, even if I am not religious at all, I am sure that Ayrton is ready to welcome you in his realm !

Gerard, please keep us informed about the situation.

As one of Guus' racetrack pupils ("don't miss the apex!") and club mates I know of his situation and hoped a long time that he will recover. If he really would lose this "race" I can only hope for him that he doesn't have to suffer a lot of pain on the last meters.

This weekend I'm on the same track again where he drove my car the first time 5 years ago to show the passenger (me) the right lines. And I'm sure I was not the only one in all those years he helped to find the right lines (in any sense).

The sorrow could not be greater...
