In today's day and age do we still consider a hand built car better than a line built car?

Back when the NSX Specialists would still speak with me, we had this conversation.
The sense from the inside Honda is the folks at the PMC know how to build vehicles and they will be fine.
My thought is the main factory for the whatever PMC edition is set up with jigs, tooling and day in day out build experience of the staff.

The valencia red TLX PMC that I drove "felt" different than the regular tlx. More solid.
