NSX SoCal Monthly meeting February 4th

The FIRST THURSDAY of every month is the date for the SoCal Monthly meeting! All NSX enthusiasts are welcome.

As usual, the group is meeting at South Coast Acura in Costa Mesa.

The dealership continues to support the NSX owners in the area, so they have asked us back.

This meeting will give us a chance to get together to just shoot the breeze and talk about upcoming events. As usual SCA will be providing premier parking.

So plan on meeting at South Coast Acura at 6:00 PM THURSDAY February 4th.

South Coast Acura is located at 2925 Harbor Blvd. in Costa Mesa. This is about 3/4 mi South of the 405 (San Diego) freeway on Harbor Blvd.
Traveling south on Harbor Blvd. from the 405, it’s just past Baker Street, on the Right.

Remember, South Coast Acura will block off the front of the store so there will be lots of parking available!

South Coast Acura has been very generous and provided food for every meeting. There will be a cup by the food for you to donate to help defray the cost to the dealership. Please put a few dollars in to help out.

He asked me to ask my NSX buddies if anyone has had any experience or knowledge as to the quality of their service department. He owns a 2015 MDX and is considering taking his car there for service. Comments anyone?

Time and staff changes so it's hard to say. I have taken my cars to SC Acura since they were located on Beach Blvd. Since I now live in CO I can't speak for any recent service. Also scheduling was big for me, so if they were swamped I had other choices around like the Auto Wave guys or Niguel Motors and vice versa, who also took good care of my NSX.

Yes, he has a red Miata. From Facebook, " "Launch Edition" car special ordered in May and delivered in July."

That was a great meeting! Especially considering how "bad" the weather is early in the SoCal "Winter"

***Edit*** I am continuing my trend of making it to events that I don't post on!

My favorite line of the night came from Les, when he realized black NSXs outnumbered the white ones, "Black cars matter!"

It was a really fun meet. I love my NSX buds.

Oh, and the best advice I got also came from Les. Check out vast.com for a used vehicle! Thank you for that. Never heard of it before.
