i know several of you have cut your rear valence to accommodate the taitec center exit exhaust, would anyone have any specific dimensions as far as how much to cut? any pictures? thanks!
Mike Wann up here in the Seattle area simply took his center-exit to a local muffler shop, had them cut off the tips, and weld in additional pipe to bring them out to the normal location. Looks good and sounds good. Loud, though.

i already own the exhaust and am dying to put it on. i would hate to cut the pipes. i know some people have cut the valence to accommodate the exit points of the pipes. i have a plan to use a jig saw then file and paint. just want to see if there are any tricks or lessons learned. would hate to ruin the valence!
My Mom bought Eddie's black/black NSX with the Taitec center exit exhaust-cut valence. Wow, that's a mouthful. Anyway, Eddie cut out a spot for the exhaust to go, and ran it with the exhaust installed. From our experience, however, I would recommend not cutting the stock valence.
If you would be interested in getting another one that is already cut, I am sure that she would be willing to sell it cheap. The car is going into the body shop this weekend to get the new valence painted and installed, if you want the old one, speak up fast, and/or email me at [email protected].
The Erebuni rear valance with the rear opening is perfect for the center exit. my car have that on right now. it seems that the Erebuni was made for the center exit design.
thanks everyone.
i do have an extra valence that i would need to cut and paint. i was very close to getting the erebuni already painted at that! however, that fell through. does anyone know the cheapest place to pick up a erebuni? any used ones out there??? red? :^)
The Erebuni (knock of GruppeM)is, in essence, the stock valence with the center cut out. Why not just take a dremel and 5 minutes to remove the center slat, then install some mesh. Just a suggestion.
