I've got a Comptech intake with lower scoop and a Downforce intake scoop that I want to mate together.
The benefit of the Comptech is that the inlet is much larger (30-40%) than all of the intake scoops (Downforce, Cantrell and Dali) but lacks the scoop portion that mates with the side vent.
My idea is to modify the intake scoop so that it mates with the inlet of the Comptech scoop to get the best of both worlds...
I'm wondering if anyone has experience modifying FRP. I plan to cut a portion off the scoop and create a small section to match up. Or will it be easier to just use a rubber hose big enough to mate the 2 together? Let me know if posting pics would help...
