The MITA Maintenance Lid allows the engine bay to be visible while protecting it from any debris that might possibly destroy the rear hatch glass.
With the OEM Maintenance lid usually on backorder, our maintenance lid can help fulfill some customer’s builds by providing an OEM look without having to wait for the OEM piece.
Our own maintenance lid is very similar to the OEM Maintenance NSX-R Lid. We have made our maintenance lid to be one aluminum piece with a protective mesh welded onto the body. We have also redesigned our maintenance lid to be NSX-T (Targa) friendly. With the NSX-Ts having a different firewall layout compared to the coupes, we have accommodated for this and redesigned the support frame to fit without the need for spacers.
For the Maintenance Lid seal, the original found on the factory maintenance lid can be used. OEM installation parts fit our maintenance lid.
