What's the latest on parts availability from Honda Japan? Any insight on how long they plan to keep the supply chain going? Recent NSX discussion video mentioned 10 more years...

When are we gonna be able to see photos of those sweet 7S wheels on actual customer cars? I'm sad I missed the group buy for them and would love to see how they look in the real world on real cars!

very timely..My 24 yo alternator is groaning...cheapest new one is 13xx. on oemacuraparts.com...Alternative is have a local shop rebuild...

Any influence with Honda on remaking "soft parts" such trunk mats, service mats, and car covers? Requires no special tooling and I would presume the same/similar producers are still in operation today? Seems like it would be easy as a requisition.

Can you get Tokai Riki remotes?

How is living in Japan? Any day to day changes in the past year affect your operation? I would suspect more people are inside working on their cars?

Any news regarding the type R pedals?
Long time ago I ordered them -)

Unfortunately not. Actually its the accel pedal only thats backordered. everything else is here but that.

Yep, 10 more years but because of COVID random things are backordered. It's difficult to explain to people what the definition of backorder is. Most people (especially those in America) do not understand what it means.

We sent out the first batches already. They take about a month to arrive to customers. When they send us photos, we'll try to post them on instagram.

Is the NSX-R black roof lining going to be available again? It is in backorder for ages...

Eventually. If it wasn't going to be available anymore, they wouldn't take our order and process the payment.

Any other new wheel offerings coming up?
What does it take to get a discount code (asking for a friend...) ;-)

No discount codes right now. We had one for over $1500 purchases but no one ever used it. We sometimes host sales that have automatic discounts when added into the cart.

As for new wheels, We had everything at $2000 for a few months. Not many people jumped on it. It's always the same story, the offer is there, but when it's gone, that is when people ask.

It's still quite pricy. About the same size.

Honda sometimes makes RHD NSX-R floor mats from time to time (if the request is high enough). But for the service mats or trunk mats, or even car covers, I haven't heard of any news about that.

Tokai Riki remotes are a no.

Japan is pretty much normal these days. Just people wearing masks. Clubs, bars, gyms, etc are all open. Just have to hand sanitize and take your temperature. Tokyo is trying to implement places that serve alcohol to close at 10pm but doesn't seem like anyone is abiding to it since the incentive to do so is not worth it in terms of business.

I too ran into this problem a month or two ago and had no luck finding a new one, nor even a high amp one from Japan (I'm located in Asia). Even Denso ones are out of stock EVERYWHERE. I bought one from Summit , they took my money and here's to hoping they actually deliver and the part is not already EOL.

Marc why is it that my JDM NSX can start up without me pressing down on the clutch pedal and why USDM cars can't? Why is there this difference?
