Carbon Fibre Fender Ducts:
I was thinking of doing this myself - looks so much nicer than the stock part; this is a great how-to series of pics for anyone considering this mod. I have red myself, like the pics, but can imagne this looks killer on a black car.

It amazes me how you find this stuff, Stoner - the search engines turn up a ton of Japanese sites but it is painstaking to wade through a bunch of boxes & squiggles (in lieu of the Japanese characters) till you find something interesting! Thanks for sharing these with us.

I have these on a silver car (originally unpainted CF, now painted body color). Available from SoS and other dealers -- mfrs include Gruppe M and Impact

Seems like he made the engine cover from a stock none:

Actually, I have no life, and since my brain is wired differently than most, I tend to find things that most don't. Obsession is a good word for it.

My car is a '98 Zanardi prototype coupe with power steering. It is in the bodyshop having a new hood and some other mods done, and I will post some pics when it is done.

Oh yea well take THAT!!

Umm, Major, you say this like it's a curse.

"Missing what everyone else sees" is the curse. (As THE posterchild for ADD I can attest to this) But the curse as a kid serves me VERY well as an "adult." Hell, if it weren't for "seeing what others miss", I couldn't have afforded an NSX! It's how cures are found and great problems solved. OK off my soap box.

Nice ride BTW....are the side skirts West Wings? I'm planning on Marga Hills this Winter. Question: Can you get these prepainted and if so do the colors match well or do you paint the whole car?

I don't think that the MH sidesteps come prepainted from anyone, and I wouldn't recommend it. They are made from fiberglass, while the WW kit is made from ABS plastic.

Anyone can buy some Honda paint, and paint the parts for you. My local bodyshop is quite reasonable now, as things aren't what they used to be. My WW sideskirts were baked to sweat out the release agent, then fitted with a heat gun, primed, painted, and then installed. They were also cut (after painting) to allow the OEM sills to be used, and I had the mesh painted black.

The MH sides are fiberglass and should fit better out of the box, but may leave some gaps. They don't need all the prep that the WW kit needs, but I would recommend painting the mesh black and replacing the OEM side vents with matching material. I have seen show cars that have NOT done this, and a silver car with silver mesh might work, where a yellow car with yellow mesh looks wrong.
