If it cannot be tightened, go to Home Depot (or any hardware store) and purchase a large tile sponge. The tan kind that has largeer holes in it. Cut a piece off and place it behind the mirror. Don't cut a piece that makes it too tight...just enough to put a little resistance on the back of the glass to keep it still.
my headlight cover wobbles a bit too...would i use the same thing to fix this? or do i need to replace the bolts that hold it in place? i alreayd tighted the bolts as tight as possible but the cover still wobbles.
There is a small screw you get to through a hole under the mirror. Check to make sure that is tight. It holds a metal clip which holds the mirror tightly in place.
