Mini NSX Vegas Run There and Back in 16 hours

Vance and I took a trip to Vegas yesterday. Left at 5pm yesterday afternoon and came back this morning. I still got caught:redface: :frown:

Long stroy short, it was totally unplanned.
Vance: Lets go to Vegas:biggrin:
Me: oh, are you serious? I don't know about that
Vance: Take my NSXR, We make it back tomorrow morning:biggrin:
Me: you are crazy

Rest is history. 278miles there and 278miles back. Vegas was amazing even on a weekday!!

It got dark quickly since we left at 5pm, not many cool cars, but plenty of riced out sightings, from Korean Rice to Domestic rice, amazing stuff

My G/F was very mad, I got caught in the morning. I told her I suppose to be home at 2am. She got even madder after I told her the truth that I went to Vegas with Vance last night. Have to do a make up trip and take her next time:redface:

Like the pic of the Kia, that is pretty rare. Maybe John can somehow retrofit that rear diffuser onto his Leganza to give it that JGTC look.

Why did you guys stop in Norco? and why at that gas station? It is not near ANY freeway offramps. Was it for the "Race Fuel"? That station is about three miles from my house, so you guys had to go right by me.

We drove around searching for a Shell or Chevron station but couldn't find one. The 76 just happen to be the next best thing.

It was just too sudden with no prior warning. I probably would had turned down the trip. If I had more time to think. Next time definitely head up notice.

If you came across the 91 and up the 15, you passed a Shell station at Hidden Valley, and a Chevron at 2nd street.

Yes, I got my AA from RCC Norco not too long ago. I was looking for a place to bleed my lizard and gas. I knew about that Shell but didn't know they offer racing gas. Cool deal!!!! I also saw a new cigars store couple blocks down!!!

Yeah, that place went up about a year ago (corner of sixth/Hamner, next to Wienerschnitzel?). I buy stogies from there every once in a while (if I'm just looking for something different), but mostly just supplies. Let me know when you're out this way again... we'll talk NSX through some blue smoke! :biggrin:

If you come and time yourself with the Annual Canyon Drive, you will really see how SoCal represent.

Definitely get together when you are here. Some gas stations in Southern Cal do carry race gas at the pump. The VW pointer was a rare sighting, I think it might have came from Mexico or other parts of South America.
