Mini-meet for Overseas visitor 8th July

Hi Gang
Richard aka Veleno one of Prime's longest term members (been around since 2000!) resident in Guam will be visiting the Bay Area next weekend.
We've been trading e-mails & he wanted to meet with me so I thought it would be great if I could extend the invitation & get some of the locals together to welcome him & show him some of the really nice cars we have in our local group.

(He'll be staying in Alameda so East Bay is best)

How about meeting at that vista point overlooking Berkeley - I remember we stopped there after our Marin drive last year - what is that Grizzly Peak?
(I know Steve - Juejaimon - knows where I mean & can probably be more specific re the location)
Great place for a view & lots of room for parking & social hang-out followed by drive through the twisties down to Orinda for coffee or ice-cream? I prefer Saturday morning personally.

If we decide on that venue, we can maybe caravan up there from Pleasanton/Dublin for those coming from that direction.

(i've got mid-day plans, but) i'd be up for an early morning saturday east bay cruise... what time are you thinking of starting up?
 
Would have loved to join, but I'm not going to be around. :(
 
Hi Guys,

Thanks for the warm welcome. Either morning is fine with me, the earlier the better as my friends have plans around mid day. It'll be great to see the cars out stretching their legs and match faces to names. I'll be bringing a friend along if you guys don't mind so if anyone has an extra seat during the drive that wouldn't mind taking him that'll be great. Just let me know. Ben, maybe next time we can meet up. Thanks again guys.

I'll have out of town vistors here and a mid morning meeting on Saturday, but if your drive lasts long enough to have coffee/lunch/dinner afterwards, it would be nice to meet up with you and the group.

Will this is what i've been looking for 1. I can meet the logal guys and one from guam that's grate.I'm new to the area been here in san ramon for 2 weeks looking forward to meeting everyone, D'ECOSSE anytime is fine with me. bill

I'll be returning from a business/pleasure (for the my kids/young adults) trip this Friday. Saturday would be best for me, as I have plans on Sunday. I don't know about a drive since:

1) I don't have my NSX yet :frown: :frown: :frown:

2) I don't want to embarass you guys with my Tacoma, so I'll just meet for coffee.

It would be great to meet another NSX owner who is from Guam.

I live in San Ramon as well.
There are two or three other owners that don't go to any of the meets.

I'll try to make it, but my house is being renovated and things are a literal mess here.
 
Count me in. I hesitated in responding because I wasn't sure about the timing (wedding reception). But it's not until late afternoon, so I'm in for morning and mid-day fun!

I'm not too sure if I can make it.
My schedule isn't looking to great and my house is looking worse...LOL!!!!
I guess I'm a better fabricator than gardener...:frown:

Anywho....I have my own shop in Livermore and a few of the local NSXr's come by all the time.

Which part of San Ramon do you live?
I'm off Crow Canyon on the East Side.
 
Meeting Location:
Parking Lot at the intersection of College and Claremont Ave in Berkeley.
(use google map to see the satellite image: large parking lot)

Time:
9:00 a.m. (plan is to leave by 9:30 a.m.)
 
I'll be there, but I'll drop from the drive early. I've got a tire issue that needs to be fixed before I go on any drives.
