I'm considering using this since my old one is toast. I can't think of any negative effect other than the size but I figured I'd be safe and ask if anyone can think of any. Thanks.

475CCA at 25lbs I think is good. I wonder if regular trickle charger can be used on this though...??

Dude, I've been trying to AIM you, I found out from one of my miata buddies that the Westco battery is identical to an Autozone Duralast 8AMU1R battery.

The following pic is of Autozone's DuraLast 8AMU1R battery (in the top photo), and the latest version of the Westco 12V31M.

The Optima battery used in the 94+ Integra is a good(smaller) battery to use. It only comes in yellow top in that size. I just put one in my GSX... it's half the size of the stock unit. I believe the CCA's are in the high 5xx's.

I have the Odyssey 545 which weighs only 12lbs and have had no problems with it if your looking to save weight. The Odyssey works fine with my trickle charger too. It's always ready to go even if it has been a few weeks!
