from that picture it doesnt appear it will fit on any NSX that im aware of. dunno about non type R 2002's. the console shift piece is the whole plastic trim piece that goes up to the clock and vents and all the way back to the arm storage area. the shift vinyl boot is attached to that whole piece. there is nowhere for that plastic piece pictured in this thread to fit.

You may want to go and take another look at your console. I believe it replaces the part that surrounds the shifter and hold the shift pattern badge. It kind of goes underneath the large piece you are referring to.

SCS2K is correct. You can swap with any year. Unless you have a automatic

Just a little note... the boots are not actually carbon fiber, but molded vinyl. I have a couple in stock now, but I am trying to develop a method to allow them to be easier to install, as it is quite difficult on the NSX as is.

Anyway that the boot can be removed from the trim and substituted in with the normal non-carbon trim?
