Add another car to the ever-growing $200k mid-engined two seater sweepstakes, except this one has 500HP coming from a 6.3L V-8 and wears the tri-pointed star.

Can't ever dismiss Gordon Murray, he's golden forever thanks to the F1.

I posted this over on F-chat with pics, for some reason I can't upload anything to prime at the moment:

Not the prettiest thing, but the HP and TQ are there. I think the SLR is nasty. This looks better than that.

I agree, I'm just happy to see any company get into this segment. The more the better.

When you think about it, there will never be as wide a variety of used supercars for buyers to pick and choose from as there will be by the end of this decade.

You'll have a plethora of cars that will have low miles and -25 to -40% off of their original MSRPs to choose from, if not more:

(500HP) Porsche 997/998 TT
(500HP) Lamborghini Gallardo/Gallardo SV, GT, or GT-R
(500HP) Ferrari 420 Monza
(500HP) Ford GT
(500HP) Mercedes/McLaren P8
(500HP) MB SL65 AMG
(500HP) Dodge Viper SRT-10 Coupe/GTS Model (hardtop refresh)
(500HP) Chevrolet C6 Z06
(400HP) Lotus Esprit, Next generation*
(400HP) Aston Martin AMV8 and DB9
(400HP) BMW M4 Coupe*

You may even have a few surpirse Japanese entries as well:

(400HP) Nissan Skyline GT-R, Next generation
(400HP) Toyota Supra, Next generation
(350HP) Honda NSX, Next generation*

Good times to be a sportscar evangelist, that's for sure.

I hope when the next NSX finally does make its appearance, it is not at the bottom of the list ;)
