Good review on a nice coupe. I'm all for more power, but 612hp and 723 lb-ft torque seems like overkill for public streets.

I read that the 612 hp and 723 lb-ft is de-tuned for the transmission. When the new 7 speed comes out that engine is supposed to be good for 700+ hp and 850+ lb-ft.

The AMG vehicles have incredible power. I recentley purchased a 03 CLK 55 and this thing moves. 362 hp and 378 Ftlbs torque it'll sure give the NSX a run for it's money. I'd be afraid to see what the CL65 can do when you step on it!!!

Over 600 HP and only 4.5 seconds zero to sixty???? I know they are heavy, but you would think it would be quicker.

With those figure I wouldn't think it would have a problem out running it.
