Is it possible for someone with the know how to create a screensaver using pictures submitted by the members? I am sure you would get an overwhelming response.

It is actually quit easy to creat your own.

Step 1: go to ofoto: http://www.ofoto.com/DownloadClient30.jsp?UV=868676064684_43700012803&c=f_on

Dowload ofotonow for free.

Step 2: download all your favorite pics to your harddrive.

Step 3: Creat albums and apply them to MS screen savor and voila!

I have albums for the different events that I have attended and some of other nice car pics I collected.

Very cool!

i've tried doing this; to save yourself some time the following programs DON'T WORK:

* ScreenSaverStudio 7.2
* ScreensaverShot20
* Ultra Screen Saver Maker 1.32
* Axalis screen saver producer

All work fine in Win9x but have problems in Windows 2K/XP.

CDube: that program only works if you have it installed.

u don't know of any that create an individual .SCR file?

True, true... No, I don't know of anyone that would do that.

I agree, this is great to be able to entertain yourselves at the office. I set my up to come up in 5 mins. It is nice to look up from reading and see all these NSXes showing up.

Works fine for me. I just put whatever pictures I want into my "Pictures Folder" and select the appropriate Screen Effects command. Nice fade between images too.

Oh yeah, I'm running Mac OS X.

If you have Windows-XP, this feature is built in.

1. Make a folder on your hard drive and put your NSX picture files in it.
2. Go to Control Panel, then Display. Click on the "Screen Saver" tab.
3. Select "My Pictures Slideshow"
4. Click the "Settings" button and then click "Browse" and select the folder your NSX pictures are in.
5. Click "OK" and then "OK" again and your screensaver will be a slideshow of your NSX pictures. You can add more pics to that folder whenever you like and they will be put into the "rotation".

You know, I could swear someone just told us that. I wonder who it was. Hey DONYMO, do you remember who told us how to do this?

guys, why don't we have a contest.everyone can choose thier favorite NSX pics,add background music if they wish and in a couple weeks we can upload and pick a winner for bragging rights. sounds like fun to me.anyone else for it?
best regards David

Sorry for the off topic. And I don't know if this has already been posted by someone, but there is NSX-R screen saver available to download.

For Windows http://www.honda.co.jp/NSX/nsx-r/accessory/image/nsxr_win.exe
For Mac http://www.honda.co.jp/NSX/nsx-r/accessory/image/nsxr_mac.sea.hqx

For windows, download it to your desktop, perform virus check for sure, and just double click it. Your will see a dialog box saying "installation complete" in Japanese. And you're set to see cool NSX-R screen saver. Enjoy.

I am sorry to have started this mess, I was just curious if someone new how to make screensavers, we could all send them our personal pictures and then he could make the screen saver available to us computer iliterates.

thanks
Armando

gheba_nsx: thanx. downloaded it; will check it out.

DONYMO: yup, but WinXP's screensaver doesn't support mp3, plus i specifically want to create a single file for distribution. But i'm sure other people will find ur instructions very useful. good post!

nsxtasy: LOL...

BadCarma: a contest? nice idea... count me in; just depends on the amount of time before entries close.

Hideki: Downloaded NSX-R for win, but comes up with an error in japanese. Does this work in WinXP? i suspect not.
