A bunch of shots of the 2002 NSX Open House at American Honda in Torrance, and a very detailed collection of shots of the 2002 cars themselves:

Looks like John is already trying to figure out what he can get in trade for his Yellow ’97!

Honey! I already know what I want for my birthday!!!
For those of you thinking about doing the 2002 facelift to your car, it will likely not be easy as you imagined. Take a look at this shot:

Notice in the top middle of the light well, there is a cutout to allow clearance for the headlight adjuster mechanism. This cutout is not present in the earlier cars.
Also, I don’t think anyone else has noticed this yet, but there is a strip under the rear spoiler:

I’d have to say it’s really there for downforce, as it’s really not noticeable as part of the facelift.
After the open house, we caravanned to the LA Auto Show to see an Imola Orange 2002 NSX, and several other interesting vehicles:

A big NSX thank you goes to Kent Shepley and American Honda for hosting the open house, and providing complimentary Auto Show Tickets!!
