Meet In Toronto/mississauga?

Anyone in the GTA area interested in having a meet before winter catches up on us? maybe this saturday?

Dude! Join the NSX Club of Canada! (lots of links in this forum)

We just had 11 cars (14 people) for dinner last week, we're going to NSXPO next week and have a Fall Drive and BBQ planned for Oct 20th, we meet once a month minimum and in the summer a few times a month on average.

Where've you been?

Yeah, don't be like me and 'lurk' on Prime for 7 years before joining...

I went to my first meet last week and had an amazing time meeting everyone!

wait till we set up the next big meet/cruise... there are so many others in which you have yet to meet

Hey Guys

I joined prime a while back. My car just got out of the shop had to get my clutch done, I've been changing cluthes every summer (not cheap) took it to a friend who is the king of any Honda/Acura in Brampton, found out it was my master cylinder and slave cylinder. I got the car back about 3 weeks ago, went to a skyline meet on saturday. Had some fun with an old dude with an F355 on Goreway(dead street in Brampton), guess he never figured he would be eaten by a Honda!

I would love to meet some NSX drivers, mine was imported from Palm Beach, Florida here are some details. I will follow up with pics.

1992 Acura NSX:

GRUPPE M SUPERCHARGER
ENIKEI RIMS 18" WITH LOW PROFILE NITTO TIRES (GRIPS THE ROAD WELL)
GRUPPE M WING
COMPTECH EXHAUST
DC SPORT HEADERS
K&N INTAKE
04 TAIL LIGHT UPGRADE
WINGS WEST SKIRTS

Sweet! Another Gruppe M boosted car! Thats 3 now in the region (Nathan, yours and mine!)

Why are you changing clutches annually? I just had the RPS billet installed this week and love it! I don't plan on needing a change for another 4-5 years.

Would have been 12 cars if the dinner was not on a Thursday, and I was in Waterloo working until 6 PM (like any other work day). It would take at least 90 minutes to get to the restaurant on a good day.

We Waterloo members feel so left out.

We London guys seem to be able to make it though.

And even though most are there for 7:30 for dinner...
Sometimes the prez is still out playing (read paddling) in the middle of the lake at 7:30

Thats why we schedule them for 7:30, to give people a chance to get there without traffic - since we finished at 10 anytime between would be OK!

The Oct 20th meet is Saturday - so no excuses!

Seriously, the "Most dedicated Member" award goes to Brad, who hasn't missed a dinner, even though he lives in London!

You should have seen Monday! Wind was good and we got out FAR and then turned around and the wind died - almost ran out of gas motoring back (had to go to my spare tank) Boat was doing 7kts easy (in 10 kts apparent wind) under sail on the way out but the motor overheats if you push it past 4.5 kts, so back was almost double the time.:frown:

I had no idea why they were going so fast. I got the exedy double carbon disc. It was the Master and Slave cylinder that were dead, killed the life of the clutch when we took it out the flywheel was blue because of all the heat. I changed both and put redline fluid, you can feel the difference. Anyone got any stories on smokin any Ferrari's?, Porsches?, Lamborghini's? Motorcycles?, in the GTA? I love hearing when guys spend over 150k sometimes and get eaten by us simply because we are better designed!

We smoke all those cars at the track on a regular basis. You should come out for some track events next year. Watch out for a vintage white Porsche whose driver wears a Tron suit giving the finger to a Yellow NSX with airplane wings on the back. Those dudes are crazy!

I think we should plan a cruise in the KW area next spring. We could finish it off with lunch at Langdon Hall. I have always wanted to do that!

401 runs through London. Takes at least 30 minutes to get to the 401 from Waterloo at 6:30...

I guess if I have two NSXs I could afford to tell my boss I am leaving early.

Brad and I live 20 minutes from the 401 which runs at the very south of our fair city. You guys have that super speedy expressway that gets you out of dodge lightning quick. Take off from work a few minutes early, show up a couple of minutes late and have a great time! The dinners are real fun.

Now you are talking. Meet in Waterloo, cruise to St. Jacobs, then take the back roads to Langdon Hall.

Exactly. We could head over to Elora see the gorge and the covered bridge and then motor back to Blair for lunch. I think it would be a great drive.

Drew06,

Is your NSX black? I think I saw you parked in the Harveys strip plaza on Queen /Torbram on Tues evening.

My office is close by.
