Just throwing an idea out there...I spent the night in Beckley, WV a few years ago and that is a really cool area. Should be within reasonable range for MD or VA NSXers.

I happened to be on the Tail of the Dragon a few weeks ago, as my sister was living right near there. In the Tail of the Dragon area, I would recommend the Phillips Motel in Robbinsville, which is an old-fashioned motor court kind of motel which was friendly and low key and welcomes car clubs. They had a "Welcome Miatas at the Gap" banner strung outside when I was there. Has a small, friendly courtyard type of area which would be good for shooting the breeze and having a coupla beers in the evening. Very close to the Dragon also.

Yeah, Robbinsville is a good jumping off point. Central to several really good roads. Zip to do there. But who cares. I assume from the apathy to this thread that The Gap is too far away.

richmond sounds good to me.. i mean they got brand new malls like Short Pump and something else.. but iono lol im not from there, my cousin and friends live there..

For Maryland guys - how about Bay Cafe in Canton in Baltimore? Lots of hotties to look at on a Friday or Saturday night. The Canton bar district is right by there also.

I understand what your saying. I have a question though, what about something like a cruise, then decide where to go after that? As far as the cruise goes maybe some place like middleburg?? A lot of good roads back that way and still not that far from Md.. Yet still a little closer for the guys in southern Va.. I have to worn you guys though I don't own an NSX yet. I would be coming in my Audi S4. Let me know if that works for you guys.
