Mazda 5, what do you guys think?

Seems like the compact van is making their way into the North America market. These cars has been around for years in asia and europe, I would prefer one of these than a big SUV or full size van. What interested me is the price (starts at 18k and fully loaded for 22k) and also the sliding rear doors.

Looks good but I don't think it's a good substitute for our Odyssey. Looks too small for my 3 little ones and all the junk that we haul on long trips.

Saw one with MFG plates on it going S on the 405 (Irvine, CA area) about three weeks ago. I thought it looked a little weird. The pic's look great but the scale (at least in real life) is a little odd. Neat idea though.
