Just wanted to say that I stopped in unexpectedly to Mark's shop on Thursday. I was in Scottsdale so I rented a car and dropped in on Mark and Jane. When I walked in, I was cordially greeted with "it's great to see you but we are really busy trying to get some work finished up on the Science of Speed NSX". Wait until you see what Chris has in store for us.
When I go into Acura of Brookfield, I'm not surprised to see up to six or seven NSX's being worked on but Mark had twelve at his place. He definitely needs a bigger parking lot and/or a body double. In spite of his deadlines, I was able to hang around for a few hours watching the master work, while in between, he and Jane were gracious host. I also got a peak at the new "blow-off" valve that will allow us to run smaller pulley's and bring that boost on quicker. I couldn't however get a commitment date! Luckily, I mainly run my boost at the track...where it counts most.
I feel very fortunate to have Acura of Brookfield in my backyard for servicing my NSX, but if I had take it to another for repair, I would want to live near Phoenix.

Hey NSXTASY or Ken......That White NSX rear Quarter panel, do you know if that is a wide body or original stock fenders? If it is a wide body fender....What Brand is that.....??? I just cant tell between these wide fenders these days

Hey!!! the computer works now...I got to see the pics:D

I don't think those are Marga Hills wide rear quarters. Infact, I couldn't tell if those were wide rear quarters at first. Could it be comptech? I personally like the Taitec wide fenders better. I have seen a rear quarter that matches those front quaters much better IMO...think the kit is Yokota? Same maker as the front fenders. What I really want to know is who makes those rims. I've seen 'em on alot of Japanese NSXs. Was wondering if those rims are lighter than 17/18 HRE rims.

The rims are Rays/Volk TE-37's. They probably do weigh less than the HRE's because of the forging process used to create them. For more info check this thread: http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=16550
Hope that helped.

When I last talked to him he had sorcery parts on his website but when I asked him about it...he said he was coming out with a wide fender that was more fluid more curvaceous than the taitec or margahills rear widefender......could this be it? Could he have made one for future sale. It looks Nice IMO

That clears things up for me a little bit. Thanks for posting this.

Yeah thanx that helped. Of course, Now I want to know if Chris used a spacer to allow the wheels to fit flush with the quarter panels AND how much thos Rays/Volks go for. Which I would have gone for those rims rather than the Polished HREs. I love the look But I have been told that HRE are pretty heavy compared to other aftermarket wheels. What was that saying by another NSXprime member "unsprung weight is the enemy"?

not clear -- white

i wonder how chris 'cleared' the headlights. looks much better than having the orange in there.
These have the inner shrouds in WHITE, similar to those on the new NSX-R. Chris either installed 03+ OEM NSX-R headlamps, or modified the 02+ OE NSX headlamps to get the look.

Looks good.

I'm not 100% sure, but those Volks may be 19s in the rear, which increase the weight a bit. Volk started making the TE-37s in 19s after the 350Z came out.

Doesn't Mark work on MYNSX's car as well as ScienceOfSpeed??? These have to be the two hottest modded NSX's on the planet.

Does JZ get his work done there too? His NSX is hotter than some of SingleSamuari's recent pictures....and that's HOT! :D

SCIENCE OF SPEED IS IN THE BASCH SHOP.THEY ARE BOTH AT THE SAME LOCATION.

I DON'T THINK JZ HAS EVER BEEN TO MARKS SHOP HE'S IN QUEENS NEW YORK.

I STOPPED BY THE SHOP THE OTHER DAY TO SEE MARK AND CRIS (SOS)

CRIS AND I WENT OUT FOR A VERY SHORT RIDE IN THE MY355,
I THINK CRIS (SOS) LIKED THE CAR.AFTER BANGING A COUPLE GEARS AT 8500 RPM'S IT'S TOUGH NOT TO SMILE.HE HAD MENTIONED THAT THE 355GTS-F-1 WAS HIS FAVORITE OF THE FERRARIS.

BY THE WAY IMO THE SOS CAR LOOKS PRIMO'.(COULD USE SOME YELLOW PAINT THOUGH :) )
