Manual vs. Electrical fire systems

I am building this track car, and I really want to do it right, including an in car fire suppression system. Most are available with either a manual release (cable pull) or electrical firing (push button). My thought is towards the electrical due to not having to think a lot, just slam the button. But what about the loss of electrical connection in a wreck or fire? Very likely? I know in home situations many fires start in the wiring, but what about Hondas? (Not running an old Alfa or Triumph here

Don't they make something that activates automatically? What happens if you lose consciuosness during an accident and you can't pull/push a button?
