What i like best of all is you guys put the tires under the car to protect them from damage, I am not a fan of wide body kits, your top speed is reduced, stock body goes 169/170mph wide body kits only allow the NSX to go about 155-158mph. post more pics though

How often do you go over 150MPH?

Please note the first photo is the "Before" condition....The car will look very different when completed. The tires were stored by paint shop there to take up less room. I could not care less about top speed. I went about 160-165 in my other NSX. Do it once and it's enough....at least for me.

wow..... nicely done. I am assuming you sold your black one? are you going to fill in those center holes on the lower valance? and when can all the widebody texas boys have a photo shoot!

Shawn, how did you come up with this source of MPH limit for widebodies? JGTC nsx's!

Brent- Finally, some pics

=g=

Thanks, yes sold the black one......Will leave the holes for airflow...will have mesh...Time for photoshoot or at least coffee:smile:

Thanks, painter said two weeks......believe it when I see it:wink: I need that new STMPO strut brace before putting the thing back together.

P.S. The rear valance and the insert on GT one bumper will be black..

P.S. II You putting the turbo in this critter? Maybe prior to NSXPO in Vegas!!

Yes we can... The are 20-30 NSX'es from TX coming through AZ on the drive to expo.... we could install the turbo then if you'd like.

you should send that kit here so we can look at what you have that we can salvage.

Regards

Wow, I didn't know that was your car Brent! The first pic was my desktop background for quite some time! Awesome ride!

Thanks, I think you will like the new look better. Interior is now all 05 and black. We gutted the cars interior and dynamatted everything, doors, floors, dash, everything. I also have only known set of leather Recaro Sporster CS seats in a NSX. Had to have special mounts built by Recaro to install. The seats are 1,800.00 a piece!!! But unlike Recaro pole positions, these recline..Installed complete Alpine sound system with DVD. Moved A/C controls to the armrest console and built custom center console for Turbo guages, Airride computer, and stereo. 2008 Corvette mirrors with custom base, also created by Bikevil.LED tailights as soon as my name comes up on the list. Headlights are being shipped out today for angel eye LED daytime driving lights and smoked lenses......never ending project.

Nice... I almost purchased a set, but backed out. If I change my mind, I'm going to need more info on those mounts. :D

Man my car is getting ready to get ripped apart again too! this thread makes me excited to get back into working on the car after this brutal winter in ohio.

Update: Painter painted car over the weekend!!!! Post photos soon:smile:

just a random question...

why would you buy a nice wide bodied nsx and do an overhaul?

wouldn't it have been better if you got a stock one?

just wondering! btw can't wait to see

Well, what you see is not always what you get when you are buying something. Widebody installation/fitment, and paintwork was not up to par. Interior was not much better either. Car looked great in pictures, not so much close up. I had sold my custom 91 and took several custom pieces off when I sold it. I incorporated these parts into my current project. I also had a few of my own custom ideas for the car.The widebody fitment and paint are not flawless, but much better now. And I purchased the car at or under a stock NSX price.
