Make your own parts

that is badass, i wonder if it is expensive or not, i didnt look around too much, but that could prove to be a very useful site. ill bookmark it

If anyone sees me broken down on the side of the road, you'll know I got around to finally making my own parts :D Especially if I go the cheap route and get them milled out of balsa wood.

I was looking at this site last week and the prices are great for 10+ peices. Its almost not worth it to make only one. If any comes up with a great part, think about offering up a group buy.

Or you can go to mfgquote.com to enter your request. Machine shops from across the country are notified about your inquiry. Interested shops will submit you an e-mail bid. I had several pulleys made from aluminum and they turned out great.

Interesting...the emachineshop.com has a Spring Machine.

Perhaps we can have custom lowering springs made to accommodate our exact drop requested...within reason. However the grade of metal used to do this may present a problem. Any ideas?

Do you think a rear camber kit could be fabricated? That would be a group buy forsure!!!!

emachineshop is not a machine shop, they are a broker which real machine shops use to get jobs. I have a friend here in Portland who is one of their vendors. It is a cool system where someone will ask for bids on a design, that gets posted to the vendor list and then the vendors choose what to bid on. Presumably the ones who are better equipped to do perticular jobs will do those jobs, etc.

I am sure there are all types of suppliers out there who use the service! If you can draw it, someone will be there to make you widget!
