To my surprise, I found you can purchase thru our local drugstore here in Hawaii, "Long's", Maisto "Excess Tuners", for $5.99, which includes 'stock to tuner' NSX play toys, interchangeable parts, with rear wing and decals provided. It turns out (at least in all the stores I've checked in San Diego, Los Angeles, Honolulu, and Las Vegas) that the NSX versions (silver and yellow) are the easiest to get. Maisto also makes a WRX, Supra, RX-7, and IS300 in the series, with the Supra, RX, and IS being very difficult to find. It's pretty much the norm to find the NSX.

Jerry, that would be great. I've only found the orange Supra, the Black RX-7, and no IS300s. If you come across th eIS300s, or the alternate color Supra or RX-7, I'd appreciate it if you could send them to me. (Only if you could find them all. Sending just one isn't all that worth it, what with shipping charges and all.) You'd take PayPal, wouldn't you?

WOW, you were right! I took an inventory of one Long's Drug Store and the following was found: (for those that are collectors, take note)

Maisto "Excess Tuners" -

Acura NSX - 6 yellow & 6 silver
Lexus IS 300 - None, in either yellow or blue
Toyota Supra - None, in either orange or black
Mazda RX 7 - None, in either red or black
Acura RSX - None, in either black or white
and
Subaru WRX STI - 5 yellow & 5 blue.

KB Toy Store only had 2 yellow Subaru WRX STI's on the shelf.

Now I have a mission. Find the others in Honolulu.

Looks like it's the same in Hawaii as it is here in the mainland. Tons of NSXs here, a few WRXs, and nothing else.

BTW, seeing any of the 2002 Supra Hot Wheel out there? I got one for my brother (a Supra owner) while I was at Aloha Stadium during my trip, but I haven't seen one here in the States since. (Just wondering.)

A pair of RX-7's (black and red) have been found in one of our stores. At least there's progress in my search, and having FUN doing it. (Isn't that what the NSX is all about? . . . FUN . . .) If I come across more of the rare ones, I'll let you know...Jerry

With my 80+ NSX models, I thought I had about 70-80% of the NSX models out there...
