Main & rod bearing tolerence for FI engine builds

I have a question for those with extensive experience in building forced induction NSX engines. Are most builders sticking to the factory recommended tolerences for both the rod bearings and main bearings? Or are any going one step looser because of the additional heat and loads being generated. (I'm speeking primarily on the 600+ HP builds) I'd love for those with an automotive engineering background like Mark911 to provide insight as to why this is or isn't a good idea.

I run on the loose end of factory spec with all bearings one my boosted NSX.

Mains at 0.0015-0.0019"

Rods at 0.0020-0.0024"

I use 10-40 or heavier oil on the track so the extra clearance works out OK for me, oil pressure has not been an issue.

Yup +1 on that
