Magellan or Garmin

Does anyome have any input/recommendation for the Magellan or Garmin Navigation systems? I am considering one for my 2005 Tacoma TRD 4 door truck.

Just got the Magellan 760 it's fantastic, as good as the system we have in our Lexus!!!!

I just saw them both displayed. The Magellan had more features and had a larger screen. The Garmin was quite adequate, but smaller with a little less capacity. But at $400 cheaper, I'd probably get the Garmin.

$400 cheaper than what, Magellan has units that are available for $400, that do many of the things that the 760 does, if you shop around you can get the 760 for significantly less than list, I just paid $940 for mine :wink:

Good choice with the Magellan. I've personally used the Roadmate 700 and found it to be a very capable system.
