Althoug this lean and good looking web browser (formerly known as chimera) is still some kind of a beta version (I use 0.8.2) it works stable and clean on my PB G4. It's easy to use (preference settings, browsing, popup blocking) and you can also browse with the keyboard (which my Netscape Navigator refused to) - e.g.: the backspace button really gives you the previous page like it did with IE.

Camino works okay with every site I was visiting no matter if it was optimized for IE or Safari or Navigator.

Further info and free download is here .

I'm using Firefox 1.0 on my PBG4, which seems to offer similar features, plus some niceties such as tabbed browsing (which is one of those things that you don't realize you really need until you use it!).

Also, check out this cool little app:

http://www.rubicode.com/Software/RCDefaultApp/

It lets you set the default app based on all kinds of conditions. Typically you do this through "Get Info" from finder, but this is much, much more powerful. Plus it's all in one place, so you don't have to do stupid things like go into Safari to set your default browser (how idiotic is that?). Best part is that it's freeware ;)
