Since I've got nothing else better to do this afternoon - it's 4pm and none of my clients seem to be in the office or they have caller ID and are screening their calls - I thought I'd share some track video.

It's of my buddies in his M3. He's recently transplanted a 3.2L engine in his '95, added a set of headers, and basically drives the bejesus out of the car. Last year, he'd stick with me, a few feet away, throughout the entire track. Here's a video for reference:

Anyway, all thru the offseason we were talking smack. Nothing too bad just friends needling each other. He's easily the best driver out of my group of driving buddies so staying anywhere near him is quite an accomplishment. In addition, his car is very very well tuned. My winter plan was to beat him to a pulp by adding some traction enhancers...17x8.5 and 18x10.5 wheels and R tires. The latest vid from this past weekend, seconds :50 thru about 2 minutes:

Truth be told, I'm on R's and he's on street tires, so that's the performance equation right there. It just felt good to FINALLY pass him and have him chase me to no avail. But the R's were noticeably giving up their traction that day. :)

Fun times.

Is there a point to this? My E36 M3 is probably faster than your NSX with either me or you doing the driving. Dollar for dollar, the M3 is faster because it and its mods cost less. I prefer the modded NSX, but these types of comparisons are just troll flame bait...

Read the first paragraph, take your panties out of a wad, or go flame someone more deserving. If the original post was "troll flame bait," I guess I was successful.

Seriously dude, go take your bad mood somewhere else.
