It's the first thing I noticed. The intent of the original framed shot is to draw your eyes to the vehicle as you slowly notice the scale difference as the actress moves from left to right. Yet another validation that our NSXs are pleasing to the eye. Smart advertising and a very cool commercial. The DirecTV Genie allowed me to play it over and over to show my son, and heir to my 91 red/ivory, how cool that vehicle still is.
Are we 100% sure it's a scale model? The reason I ask is because of one small detail. The car appears to have aftermarket wheels which I seriously doubt would have come with the kit...I mean...why change them? If the visual effects guys can make a scale model look like a full sized car, they can certainly do the opposite.
