Well, the man, the myth the legend Lud is in town and I would like to get some of the Prime family together and take him karting and out to dinner afterwards. Never met him? Here is your chance!!! Who is he you ask? NSXPrime, that's who.
Also, George Schultz (username heartbeat) would like to open his doors for us to check out his 800+ 1/18th scale car collection in his room addition he just built specifically for his collection (can you say nutjob?) His house happens to be 2 blocks away from the restaurant we are going to eat at. Restaurant is 2 minutes from MB2Raceway and is located next to an exit at the 101 fwy, which is easy on/easy off.
Check out their website here. Similar to K2Speed we've been to in the past. The quarter-mile track was designed by Bryan Herta, a member of the Andretti-Green Racing Team. You'll be driving high-performance, Italian-made, top-of-the-line go-carts in a 14 lap race.
This is informal and requires no reservation at either the raceway or restaurant. That being said, it would be nice to have a show of hands who would be willing to attend. It's too late to arrange anything at the raceway. The restaurant would need a heads up if the headcount gets high. Anyway, hope you all can attend!
