And I quote:  "(A race bucket like Chris's is another matter, but my car is primarily for street use so I didn't want to go that agressive)."  I know that a real race bucket will lower the position, because it's got less butt-padding, and side-mounting brackets so the sliders don't take up much (if any) vertical space.  But I want matching seats (driver and passenger that is), and don't want to subject passengers to the labor of getting in and out of those (street passengers, that is).
