Thanks Andrea, which lowering hardware do you have? Bilstein & Eibach if I remember correctely?

Anyone else, I am trying to figure out an average since I think I went too low...

No, my springs (Ventura) are 25'000km old and the shocks (Bilstein) are 15'000km old... I think it is because of this combo and the OEM wheels that I am bottoming everywhere!!!

My '91 is stock ride height. I measured before and after installing the Bilsteins, and the ride height remained the same. I measured from the flat ground to the bottom of the tabs for the four jacking points (not the ones in the middle). All four were between 4.5 and 4.75 inches (114.3 to 120.65 mm).

Thanks everybody, now I'll go downstairs and measure mine!

Ken, did you use the stock height on the Bilsetin, am I correct? Shouldn't this lower the car of 1/4 of an inch? And 3/4 for the "lowered position" setting?

Heretic, thanks a lot! Your height is what I am looking for I guess...

Andrea, I am using the stock position setting in the Bilstein at the moment. You too?
Isn't your car to high in the back? The stock difference is 3cm, you have 5cm. I kind of like this! Some NSX sits lower than other in the back...

Ok, I have the mesurement: front 59cm (23.2in) and rear 64cm (25.2in).

It seems a little too low, I am now think of using the lower perch for the Bilstein and going to the stock springs instead of the Ventura. Any opinions?

You are like me only 1 cm

I think that must to order eibach spring I think its better then Ventura or maybe you can try with the bilstein ring to put in lower position with stock spring
You must try how you feel better the car

I used the stock height setting, and there was no measurable change in height (I was measuring to the nearest 1/16 inch).

Ok, I raised the car (now I have Bilstein on lower perch and OEM springs), the new height is: 61.5 cm (24.2 inch) and 66.4 (26.1).

Honestly? I like the car much better!

The wheel gap is noticeably bigger but it looks cleaner (and low anyway)!

The handling is similar (I guess, since I only drove 200km with them) but the ride is a little softer.

After 6 months and about 2'000 miles I saw that the car dropped 1cm. This is interesting since the OEM spring I reinstalled had about 50'000 miles on it. I do not know why it settled down...

BTW, for measuring ride height, note that there is a standard measurement available on page 18-6 of the '91 service manual which is also available on this site.
