We have been playing with Aero and had to test it out. It's working, despite the lack of paint. We have more work to do and will be playing with active aero. Why? Hillclimb time....

So here are a few small clips from over the weekend.

That looks wild!

Who are you working with on the aero stuff, or are the suggestions just from the GingerMan lawn maintenance crew

So far just working with common sense. It's working. Low speed front end push is gone. High speed grip all around is phenominal and there doesn't seem to be a ton of drag at least up to 140mph.

The new cooling system works great too! Three radiators keeps things much cooler than the stock unit...

Hill Climb? You guys eye-ing a crack at the Pikes Peak Hill Climb next year? Supposedly they will finish paving the whole route by next years event. (most of it is paved already anyway):smile:

That looks wild.

Good luck!

Why do you need 3 rads? is it because of the high horse power/ PSI or the hot and dry conditions at the Hill climb?

Plans include big power. Big power has proven to need massive cooling in the past. Plus, there isn't much air available at 14,110ft to provide cooling. NSXrunner does that answer your question? ;)

We are planning to run PPIHC, but that depends on getting an invitation. Also, per the rules, PPIHC requires the cage material to match the chassis material. An aluminum cage makes me a little nervous, so I'm in talks with them to see if I can use Chromoly.

Awesome! Good luck and hope they allow the Chromoly cage. I better start making plans to have the week off...just in case haha!
