I don't know if anyone posted this here yet but it is a video I made for LoveFab from a few times they we were at the track. Also has a little bit of street driving at the end..... Enjoy

Holy crap!

10's!?!

No wonder you were on the brakes...

I love seeing the nsx laying the beat down on the big block drag machines! that was great. I bet they were surprised :)

Wow, I didn't know this video had made Prime. The 10.75 while riding the brakes was also done while running on standard 93 octane Pump gas.

I was sandbagging for a full-powered racegas run which is why I applied the brakes at about the 1000ft mark, to try and stay slower than 11.50's. Obviously I wasn't on the brakes soon enough because we were booted from the track for going too fast with no roll cage before we could get a full-powered race gas run in the books.

Spring is only three months away...

Man that thing is a beast Cody. I thought it was fast when I saw it. Front end loos nice after the 02+ conversion. Who would have thought that damn Possum would have changed the whole look of your car.

That video was made when the car was using a standard GT4294R, specs can be found on Garretts website.

Tim, this is actually an entirely different car since the possum incident. I removed the front end and installed it onto my 92 that I picked up for a great price. The 95 was put into storage until I rebuild the 92 motor and then the 95 will be sold after some extensive product testing that I have planned.

Yes, broke an axle. You can't see it in the video, but there was a split second of wheel-hop, and thats what did it in. I also have been through a transmission, 3rd gear stripped the teeth right off. Thats the price we pay of trying to daily drive an NSX at well over 600whp. Finding a reliable solution to hold up to over 1000whp would be nice, I'll report back if something is found.

Found another one.

why would they kick you off the track for riding the brakes?

yea many tracks have rules for fast cars like manditory helmets and roll cages.

ahh I see - damn Cody that thing is a beast! hahaha I guess you didn't really want to wax the competition huh?

At least theres another Midnight Pearl thats doing the name right by showing everyone that NSX's can e a contendah!

WOW! Do you have a dyno graph? How's the power delivery for every day driving?
BTW: I can't believe you're "street racing" in the last part of the video!! Bad, bad bad!

they kicked him off the track cause he didnt have a roll cage and to run 10's at the track you need a roll cage

motor code:biggrin:
