LoveFab NSX vs SC Cobra

This video was taken a while back but i finally got to the point of editing it.

Although I do not approve street racing, I had to defend the name of the NSX as well as other Hondas.

Many local people (including this Cobra owner) called the NSX outdated and slow and no matter what FI you placed on it, it couldn't and wouldn't keep up with a modded Supercharged Domestic V8.

I know I shouldnt have bowed down to the pressure but the look on his face afterwards was priceless.

We are about the same on power but I am about 500+lbs lighter than him which is the problem with most Domestics (minus the C6)

They weren't street racing man. That cobra looked like it was standing still. He was just making a justified pass.

I went to the track once. I had a passenger and I had to lift once and still ran a 12.6.

I think under proper conditions, I could have run a low 12 sec pass.

I think you may have more of a weight delta than 500lbs.

Ha!!! I raced a Supercharged cobra, he was claiming he had over 500hp. He was blown away, after the race he wanted to inspect my car for NOS or anything. A week later I see him leaving Automotive Engineering with not one but TWO bottles of Nitrous.

I love the Supra. But, the FI NSXs that are being built are going to give them a run for their money. Awesome vid!
