Love??

To better answer your question, do you mean before you drive nsx, or after??

I mean, some of us here were in love with the car for 16 years, and even put premium to have the car when it first came out. Some love it after someone give them a ride. Some had been obessed with it until they can finally be able to afford the car....

Or, you mean after owning the car, what is the most favorite aspect of the car??

To me, I never like the car when it came out and think that the taillight is ugly, or course that was 16 years ago...

Then later, I had a chance driven the car and touch and seen the car. Didn't find it that much better, because the road I driven in and my then driving skill.

I also had a chance getting an unexpected "joy ride" by our famous SOS's Chris... My jaw dropped, then I just thought that the guy is crazy... (hitting triple digit exiting an on ramp)

The car had become out of reach, and to me, it's not any different than any other exotic car... eye candy... (no disrespect, just it's out of the league)

Then in 2000, something bad happen to me, and I realized I only live once... and I can live rather simple and afford a 30k car.

I love Honda cars... I loved S2000, then it didn't take long to find nsxprime.com on internet..... Brainwash........Brainwash..... Remained skeptical about the whole car experience that many mentioned here. UNTIL>>>>>>

One day, after my friend's funeral (no joke). I got some free time and walked inside the local exotic car dealership... The guy took me out for the test drive... It's pouring outside suddenly, so we have to cut the test drive short. 3 weeks later, it's nice out, test drive the car again, and after reading this forum and learn about the limit of the car, I ask the salesman do the test drive for me. (First Time ever ask someone else test driving car for me in my whole life) .......
To me my expience is that I'm horrified of the car's nice handling despite it's riding on crappy tires....... (General at the back, Bridgestone tire in the front). Yet the car still handled beautifully...(Again, I wasn't the driver!) I was zone out on that day, whole night, I kept replaying the exhaust and engine note at behind my neck and when the salesman overtake 3 heavily modified civic at the onramp at ease........

After owning the car for more than 2 years now, I still love the car and I can say that the number one thing I love the car is that it hit my sweet spot in every way.... :)

It was love at first sight when it first came out!!!!! After my first test drive I was speechless....words couldnt describe how I felt!!!!! Nsx is one of a kind and to be an owner is a dream come true!!!!!

You don't have to lower it to be lower than other cars. Aside from that it got the looks, performance and exoticness.

Everything. Looks, Handling, Reliability, Unique. I see more Porsches, Vette's, F-Cars, and even Lotus Elise's more often than an NSX. (Ok the Lotus part is because the owner happens to be one of my neighbors...but still...see him everyday as he is crazy and uses it as his daily driver  )

I fell in love with the NSX (and Diablo too) when I was like 13 when I played Need 4 Speed :) I though it was ugly from the behind the car driving view cause of the "bubble" looking hatch, but it handled great. The when I was 16 and saving towards an Eclipse or 3000GT and a guy parked his on the sidewalk infront of the grocery store I was working at, and its beauty simply amazed me, I was awestruck. From that monment the NSX was my only goal and I wouldn't settle for anything less at all. So I rode the bus in HS lol and saved every penny!! 3 months after I graduated got an 01 (2 years old at the time) and I couldn't be happier!!! Now on to the Diablo :D.......

I read about it for 3 years ago, when I got my drivinglicense.
Then I couldn't afford the car, it was far out of reach. (Here a 25.000 $ NSX cost 55.000 $ because of the taxes).

The car I read about was lowered 1,5 inches, had big wheels, new sidemirrors, quad-exhaust, and the middle of the taillights painted. It was black. Then I fell in love, when I understood the huge potential this car has!

It's reliable (seen picture of a NSX doing 350.000 miles++), rare, very fun to drive with much grip, it gives me a feeling of "man and machine", even more beautifull with simple mod's, has enough power to make me smile, it reflects my personality, you don't have to pay huge amounts of money to service it (own it) like a Porsche/Ferrari, all of my friends love that I bought it, it attracts attention from both females and enthusiastic males +++++

In few words: I love the car more and more when I get to know it better. I think that I will own the car untill I can afford the new "NSX" that's coming out soon :D

It's a true supercar IMO.

Love? You can't describe what makes you fall in love... it just happens. One day you're walking along happy being single, and then BAM! You find yourself spending all your time and affection on it... and money on it... ...and you don't know how you lived without it. It has stolen your heart without you knowing or caring! That's love... that's the NSX. :D

ok ok ok ... if there was any one thing that made me fall in love with the NSX, it was it's eyes. :) And it's butt... but that makes me sound like a pervert.

Hi

No if you are talking about the magazine Autofil then that was Hetem Tug's car. It is for sale again on Autodb.

http://www3.autodb.no/cgi-bin/car/detail.pl?nr=940368

Adeel's car has not seen much daylight yet if I am not mistaken. He just got it.

If you are talking about Autofil the tv show that was Pettersen Autoimport's NSX that they tested on Arctic Circle Raceway. He posted a lot of pictures here on Prime. Very nice NSX.

I fell in love with the NSX many years ago. Probably in the early 90's. I tried to forget about it since it was so expensive, but since I saw my first one about 5 years ago I knew I had to have one. And I got one and now I want more :)

NSXPrime has been fueling my interest ever since and I have been bit by the "modbug" now. :)

Regards

Martin is correct, bought my NSX right before Christmas, and it is set away for the winter, I will take it out in the beginning of april. But it was that article that made me a fan of the NSX :)

The combination of rare/ exotic coupled w/ Japanese build quality.

The list is long but in the number one spot was Reliability. After owning many sports cars and having them sit in the shop for most of the summer I was fed up.

Loved it 15 years ago, love it now.
Will give me a good/Great ride anytime. No complaint. Whether I like it fast or slow. Whether I'm taking it easy or giving it hard. And then there's the purrring....Did you say lust or love?

Being a long term Porsche guy, I was shopping for a 993 Carrera when my wife spotted Mr. Wolf's NSX in Pulp Fiction. "Is one of those within our budget??" she casually asks.

The rest is history!

I was at a tennis tournament in 1991 sponsored by Acura. They had an exibit on the NSX. I was smitten. There really is no comparison to other cars out there. still today.

Saw a Black '91 in the Fall of '90 on PCH parked at a little cafe on the bluffs. I've wanted one ever since - can't say why.

Second! The very first time I got smitten was when I was staring at its arse (and drooling) while stuck in traffic behind it.

Everything!

The first car I felt was perfectly suiting me.

Nicest rear end and 3/4 rear view ( see my avatar picture: truly one of the best looking car in the world, period ), still the nicest interior ( especially its dash and seat design ), state of the art design philosophy and all aluminum construction, low and wide stance ( but honestly I must say I am totally sold to the Lamborghini Diablo which holds the first place ex aequo with the Mc Laren F1 ), its engine ( powerband, NA, 8,3k rpm, sound, ... ), huge windshield, ...

But the best way to understand what I am describing is to be confronted live with this masterpiece; this car shows all its stunning timeless beauty and perfect proportions when you are able to take a close look at it. Those curves combined with its wideness and lowereness... It is always fascinating and inspiring. I am never tired to spend time only admiring its overall shape ( especially after I spent time washing it! ).

One of my friend told me: "This car is erotic! Stunning lines!"

I am a big Lamborghini Diablo and Mc Laren F1 admirer but I don't feel their interior design suits me as well as the NSX does ( however, I prefer the F1 design over the Diablo one, which is nicer and maybe ergonomically better IMO ).

Another thing highly attracts me: a T-Rex. Another stunning design to be appreciated live.

the Diablo 6.0 interior is sweeeeeeeet, all the other Diablos interiors suck. I still think the NSX interior is the best ever too!! I have no idea why people say its cheap and 80's looking  what no dash cd player....pshhh

I can't speak with experience concerning the Mc Laren F1 interior but in the Diablo 6.0 case I can say it's nice and it suggests a serious built quality but the shifter position and feel isn't as nice as the one in the NSX, also gauges are hard to read due to their smallness and too piled up tiny numbers, especially in speedometer which is mostly composed of three digits numbers! IMO every 94 + Diablo interior are ok but the original dashboard is awfully ugly and seems, when compared to relative seat lowereness, to completely obstruct outside front view. The Diablo is at its advantage when viewed from a 3/4 front and side view.

The NSX always look good from almost any angle. There is only one which I find to make look the NSX ordinary and this angle is somewhere between front and 3/4 front view when camera angle is slightly pointing down; that way the car looks squared, not curvy at all and almost as large as long... very disapointing. I'll try to find such a picture...

Of course, if someone can show one, I'll be glad!

Cheers!
