Loud noise coming from speaker

I am having a noise coming from the driver's side speaker, this just started happening today and at times the noise starts and stops. It is very loud and high pitched. I turned from CD to radio and it still did it. Do you think it is the speaker or possibly the stock amp? Everything stereo is stock in my car except for the aftermarket alpine 6-disc in back trunk. I need your guys advise --- I want to get this fixed asap.

Sounds like you have a short on that speaker, somewhere between the speaker and your unit, if the two wires short you will get a very loud squeal.
If you're lucky, it's right at either end and you won't have to go searching.

Yes the Bose Sux..

whenever I'm listening to music . buzzs. weird frequency noises etc shows up and ruins my mood

To my opinion, if you have some spare $$ in your pocket Change it!! Bose amp doesnt worth to be fixed! the problem gonna come back sooner or later!
