Hello,
This is my first post here, so I'll take a moment to introduce myself before I go on.
I'm James, I'm an ex-technician and now almost a qualified mechanic.
I work at Minisport in South Australia, where I'm currently working on my boss' '97 (or '98) Honda NSX (right hand drive).
As it is it has the EPS light on and gives error 22, resetting the eps with the clock fuse fixed it for long enough to drive it out into the car park and park it, then when I went to bring it back in it threw error 22 again.
From other threads I have come to the conclusion that the EPS module has failed.
Now, I've read over and over that there are a couple of people on these forums who repair them, but being comfortable with electronics I'd like to do it myself, should get me some extra brownie points with the boss too
What commonly fails in the EPS Module? I'm thinking probably the mosfets? is up rating them a good idea for longevity?
Am I on the right track?
Regards,
James
