Looking for Early Model NSX under 70K miles, $25-32K

I'm looking for an early model NSX, here are my criteria:

-Black, or if Red, must have all Red (i.e. no red w/ black cockpit) - not sure what year this switched to being all one color, I don't want to deal with any repaint jobs
-40-70K miles
-manual
-not in the snap ring range
-seven spoke rims (the standard ones you see on a lot of these cars)
-my price range is approx. $25-32K
-will travel to pick up the car

Edit: I thought of a couple of more criteria (I'm just a bit picky, as I'm sure many of you are):
-no significant mods
-nothing done to lower the car (not sure my driveway could take it)

jkeen, For the most part your criteria is reasonable, and you should be able to find something. However, I seriously doubt you're going to find an early model NSX that has a red exterior with a red interior. They came with a black or ivory interior only. Don't limit yourself to 7 spoke wheels, as you can get those later. And while I understand the typical logic in not wanting a car that has been repainted, don't judge a car that has been re-painted without taking a look. I, as well as many others, have seen some very, very nice re-paint jobs that are just as nice as OEM. Further, there have been loads of NSX's sold where the buyer has been told the car has never been re-painted, only to find out later it was. The re-paint job simply foolled them. Good luck in your search. If you were a week earlier, there was a sweet red NSX that just sold here in StL.

Got a link for the one that sold in STL? Just curious what it looked like.

To clarify, I'm not looking for a red interior - I think that would be a bit crazy. What I meant was, with the 1991-? models, I don't like the red exterior that has the black frame around the windows and windshield (hopefully that clarifies). I do love red, but I would only buy one with an all red frame/exterior, which I think means buying a 1995 or later model.

Can anyone tell me when this changed - based on my search of various classifieds here and elsewhere, seems like 1995 w/ the switch to the NSX-T version.

No, there is no link. It sold without ever being officially offered for sale. Publicly anyway. A guy simply made the owner an offer. It was a very nice example of an early year red, and it sold at the high end of what you are looking to pay.

Thanks for the info. Just out of curiousity, are there many members on this board from St. Louis? Even though I rarely see these cards on the road, I'm guessing there are some members in the area. I actually live out in St. Charles out near Page and 94 in a new development.
