Looking for CD Changer Bracket

Hi. I am looking for a CD changer bracket for the trunk of my 1991 NSX. I acquired the Alpine CD changer but having spoken to three Acura dealers, none of them know how to get the bracket. I might to get this through the NSX Prime market but I had thought it would be faster to go through a dealer. Does anyone have a spare bracket? If not, is there anyone you can suggest to get this from, before I search the market or E-Bay?

By the way, we Ottawa types are looking forward to getting together with other drivers in Toronto and environs, through whatever events are ultimately organized.

If you can't get/find a bracket you might want to try mounting the changer using velcro. When I added the CD changer to my car I didn't have the bracket and didn't want to drill any holes to mount the changer. I decided to try using velcro and it works great. I glued the velcro to the bottom of the changer and it grabs the trunk carpet very well ... doesn't move at all.

I'd take a picture but unfortunately my NSX is in storage for a couple more months.

Thanks for your help. I am going to give the bracket one last shot with the part number. If not, I like the Velcro idea although I would prefer to mount the changer vertically and more out of the way to the side. Thanks again.

One advantage of mounting the changer on the floor is you can use the full width of the trunk. I'm not sure if my golf clubs would fit if I had my changer mounted on the side.:tongue:

I have an additional set of mounting brackets that I acquired when I purchased my factory cd changer. Let me know if you would want them. You can have it for a fraction of the dealer price.
