Am in South Orange County and am in the market for a car.
Mid-Low $30's, would like a 95-96T but will consider earlier.
Can anyone recommend an expert in their local Club I could discuss
these cars with? New to NSX's & looking to continue my education prior
to making a purchase. Have sold collector cars through brokers,
private party sales. Paying a % for matching up real buyers with sellers trying to avoid tire kickers. Have found the nicest (Low mi.) cars often change hands this way opposed to the Auto Trader. Any one like that in our area?
Any info on the above very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

I would be surprised if you a 95 - 96 for low 30K.
You may want to consider 91 - 94.
Go to the next NSX meeting - held the first Thursday of each month in Costa Mesa. You'll be able to see many cars and speak with owners first hand. Keep an eye on Prime for details.

hey...im looking for the exact same thing. Im fairly new to NSX's and learning. Any help would be appreciated. THANKS

Spend some time checking out the FAQ section (located in the red bar above).
That will give a lot of information as well as help you estabish some well thought out questions.

Also keep your eyes on the "Market" (located in the same red bar). Good news is NSX's have high epa standards so buying something out of state isn't a problem.

Thanks for the info.
Found the top "non Factory", "Factory NSX Certified in the past" NSX mech in my area. He has lots of customers, so it may help in finding the right car.
I am looking for a super low mi. older example in my area. I want to spend
30-35k for the lowest mi., non black int. NSX I can find.
(Its the collector in me)
Will also keep my eyes peeled for info on the next local NSX meet/meeting.
Am looking into the Trans housing snap ring groove issue at this time. Trying to figure out if its worth buying a 91/92 or going for a 93-96.
Again the collector in me is driving most of my questions.
I realize these cars are still depreciating and not being thought of as collector cars. But am determined to figure out which year to buy in the price range I have decided on.
Any info appreciated. And yes, I have read the FAQ's.
Have cash so its just a matter of time.
Might be a week, or a year. But it will happen.
Thanks again!

Thanks!
E-mail sent.
But am a bit leery?
New int? 66k?

I need to spend more time behind the wheel of a coupe.
(to see if I really do fit OK) I am now leaning towards the lowest
mileage NSX I can find in the price range I have decided upon.
These cars are still depreciating, so I would
expect prices to keep falling till we see an up turn.
(I have no idea when that might be?)
I have seen a few 95's in the Mid to upper 30's.
But am now thinking low mileage with no snap ring issue's
might be a better way to go.
Thoughts?

this is as good as you will get. take the car for inspection and own it. you will be waiting forever....and tomorrow may not come so enjoy it today.

If anyone is interested in the car mentioned above, here is the low down.
I will pass.

Am now thinking I should seek out the lowest mi. 93-94 I can find.
I know a few of these cars have not been driven much.
Think I will focus on finding one of those rare birds.
Have cash, so the hunt is on!
If anyone knows of such a car and is not interested, let me know.
Looking forward to meeting local NSX experts in my area.
Am in San Clemente Ca.

Im the 3rd owner,66k miles black on black I put new Interrior from 2001 Acura nsx looks more clean. Previously the car had been in a theft recovery due to that is has CA Slvg Title if still interested e-mail me back or call me at 818-355-1279 thanks Ed

I would never pay 31K for a salvaged title but I would pay 15-20K. Last time I offered on a car just like this, they laughed. Then I found my 94 for 35K with 36K miles. Happy-happy.

If you want to meet for lunch/coffee and chat. I live in Dana Point and work in Irvine.

Love to help new prospective owners. Also, they are right, the meetings are the perfect place to meet other owners and get pro-tips.

Dave
