I am looking for a body kit that is affordable and looks good to...hoping someone may have some ideas for me.... help me out!

just lower it and get some nice rims:biggrin: I've never been a fan of body kits on NSX's....some cars need body kits to look good, the NSX is NOT one of those cars:cool:

not want you wanted to hear, just my advise to anyone with an NSX:redface:

Just some names in no particular order for you to look into, you can find them all in this forum.

Wing West
Vailside
Taitec
Comptech (If you can find it)
BRS
Sorcery
Versus (Sorcery replica)
Marga Hills
Cantrel
Route KS (Kawagan)

Good Luck

Affordable and looks good ?

This reminds me of something my boss always says. " I want it done good and I want it done fast "

Lets start with the wings west since I think this kit is affordable and looks good even thou its a bit conservative for my taste.

unless you go widebody, you may want to just get maybe a nice new lip (wings west, RM style splitter etc) and some side skirts (too many to list) and a nice R spoiler from downforce =)

If you want unique, buy the new Vol.2 Hyper Rev NSX magazine and pick the one you like. Tons of bodykits for the NSX. You can get any local shop to order it for you.

forget the wide body.... why make perfection FATTER !!!
maybe a nice bumper, more agressive wing.....put some killer rims on it, lower it... and you are ready to go !!

To each his own and I don't mean any disrespect to anyone but I'm yet to see a body kit on an NSX that looks better than the way Sochiro intended. But that's just one man's opinion.

Before you kit, you need to figure out a few things.

1)What its made of. Fiber glass is cool, poly eurothane(sic) is better. Carbon is the best.

2)Erebuni sucks.

3)Road conditions where you live/drive. Pot holes, dips, speed bumps, opposums.

4)Ride height.

5)Whether or not it will decrease performance(NSX kits shouldnt have this problem)

Write down your answers to these questions, crumble up the paper, light it on fire. Slap yourself for wanting a body kit.

Before you put a body kit on your NSX, you should purchase a second NSX. That way, when smart asses ask how you could ruin a perfectly good car, you can say, "Because I have another one that is stock and it looks just like yours." :D

Just Install the Wings West kit, is soooo simple that looks stock somehow .. i got a front air dam in my Prelude and is the best and only body part ever added as "kit" and ANY NSx that i see with a lip -air dam- wings west looks perfect ,, is like the "extra" 4 inches that Honda deosn't want to put in their cars to avoid future problems with people breaking oem body parts ,,, basically what i try ing to say is GO west wings if body or don't do it ... NSX's are gorgeous already, they dont need anything at all (other than lip)

Tak care and hopefully i'll be in one (Nsx) some day ....

all those kits mentioned above are just overcooked rice. people look and laugh at those kits. why compromise super light aluminum alloy panels with heavy and flimsy fiberglass or poser style carbon fiber panels that are wet lay ups that use much much more resin and gel coat than actual carbon fiber?

if you want good kit that is affordable, contact DOME. its the only kit that still retains the look of the NSX yet still means business.
