What do I need to know about known issues with those years?

I know about the timing belt. What is the snap ring problem??

Also I have driven an automatic 92 but never a 5-speed, I know the 5 speed has 20 more hp, Is it alot faster than the auto?

And lastly how much did those of you who painted the roof of your older nsx's pay to have it done?

Thanks
Arthur

1. Snap ring problem (identifiable by transmission number)
2. Power windows problem (preventable with the installation of a $16 part)
3. A/C (make sure it works)
4. Maintenance (the timing belt is specified by Acura for replacement every 90K miles or 6 years, whichever comes first, but has not been done on many early cars)

Click on the red bar at the top of your screen, where it says "FAQ". Then click on the button that says "Troubleshooting", then click on "Transmission". As the late FAQ Nazi would say, "Remember, the FAQ is your friend."

Yes, significantly, with 0-60 times at least half a second faster.
