Hello fellow NSXers and those who follow
I just wanted to introduce myself and just say thanks in advance for all the very useful info that has been available to me. I've secretly and quietly been studying from a far:redface-new:. I have wanted to (like many others im sure) buy an NSX for many many years. Without too much babbling, let me explain some info about my ride. It is a 1991 I located it in California and had it shipped to me in CT. I got it early 2012 and The price was right due to the high mileage it had. It had about 176k on it at the time I took ownership and it was in need of some attention. First thing was first and did research and my car was not in snap ring range aahhhh (sigh of relief) again thanks Prime! :encouragement: One minor issue which the owner told me ahead of time and he explained he was not sure what was wrong with it but was the speed sensor. I have much experience with Hondas and suspected this to be the issue and voila $130 bucks or so later and speedo worked like new. Next the exhaust was stock and we cant have that so thanks to Prime and a fellow member not sure who but he was selling a used CT exh and I figured what the Heck. Afterwards it needed clutch so I did SOS sport clutch + flywheel WOW! Compared to what I believe may have been the stock clutch BIG difference I think my right leg was getting jealous of the definition of my left, anyways while that was being done I decided it was a good time to get some reg maintenance done and did the timing belt water pump. It does need other things for example like the anti lock light comes on windows go up slowly, weather seals, suspension could use upgrading and the aftermarket wheels that came on it although better looking than stock, still have to get replaced. I'm confident that with the assistance of folks here and thanks to this forum I should have a great experience and relationship with my (new to me) NSX. My car will be a long work in progress but step by step will someday be the way I want it Anyways thanks again and hope to see some of you. Sorry if i went on too much but I appreciate your time.
