I'm from that area.But I havent been there in a little while.Hit the Nathans car show if possible and ask.What is it your asking?Street racing .Or santioned legal events?The closest legal track that really rocks is Raceway Park in N.J...
Where in Oceanside,Ive done a job on every street there.My brother owns Monark Glass and mirror right near the school there.
P.S Joey Buttafuco's (retard)shop is right in Baldwin across the street from Greenart Plumbing suppy.

Actually, the closest DECENT tracks are Pocono International and Lime Rock. Too bad they bulldozed Bridgehampton.

My understanding is that the Northeast Region of the NSX Club of America is working with other clubs in the area to jointly host something like four track events this year. Good way to go to the track with a bunch of other NSXers.
 
Yes they postponed plowing Bridgehampton for a long time Ive moto-x'ed there,I think it was about 6 years ago.
Ive never seen the Pocono track .I have seen the raceway park 1/4 mile track (only).But check-em out.
New York is in my schedule for September and I'm hungry for some pizza and bagels etc.etc...

Stay away from the city, they are confiscating cars for spectating and noise at races. Especially Francis Lewis Blvd. and over at Grand Ave, where they pulled twelve cars in one night.
