Lojack. Now has an alarm and keyless entry...anyone know if it is worthwhile?

Hi again everyone.
On my things to do list for my "new" NSX are:
Stongard
1. Aftermarket alarm
2. Keyless Entry
3. Lojack.
4. Hardwire V1.

I called Lojack to find a local dealer, and they said that at my location, they now have a mobile unit and they will come to your residence to install the Lojack system so you dont have to drop the car off.
Its $595 for the Lojack.
The rep also mentioned that they now have an alarm ($300 installed) with an option for a microwave motion sensor ($100 for module).
I would much prefer to have the car "taken apart" just once for installation of all the electronic stuff.
They would not tell me (or maybe did not know?) which brand of alarm they install, but claimed that it was a high quality system.
DOes anyone have any experience with the Lojack Alarm?

Hi Rick.

I was supposed to have a LoJack installed this morning. but I got stuck in traffic and the guy showed up at 8 on the nose. I'm just doing the recovery. Not sure if they offer the other features in Boston, the operator never brought it up. My take is it's probably better to go with something more tried and true. I'm still looking.....

for recovery the lojack is fine but as for an alarm system may i suggest using a 2-way alarm i personnaly like the compustar 900 mhz spread spectrum alarm it offers a 1 mile range under optimal conditions and will give u some peace of mind. they have a web site and u can read more about it..ive had this alarm on my legend with a proximity sensor and its great it was an older model with the spred spectrum technolgy so the new one must be outstanding ..i am not a salesman or gettin paid to make this statement....http://www.compustar.org

They're from Marga Hills....and yes, they ARE Extreme! Unfortunately they aren't on my car (yet) I just liked the piture. Same color as mine anyway

I now offer a small box that can easily be hidden in your car. The box can be tracked via satelite over the net or any telephone. I can sell these to NSX prime members or even set up a group buy.
