log(not wooden) houses

I know the title is mis-leading,but what i mean is, is there anyone here who owns an actuall log made house as made by these guys(or something like it)

I came across this website and fell in love with these homes.
Unfortunately i live in the UK and these homes are not the norm and i was wondering what sort of money these can be built for

Pricewise, I have always been curious as well...

Those are the only type of house I'd ever build, besides an extremely modern steel/glass house.

(P.S. That was the worst website I've ever come across that was professionally done. Horendous)

Normal log homes are significantly more expensive than conventional homes to have built. I can only imagine how much those home must cost, having to be built twice!

Log homes are not nearly as efficient as conventional homes and from my experience have very poor resale value. I looked into a log home for our up north home but decided to go with a cedar sided home because of the downsides to log homes.
