I would like to invite anyone who is interested to come out and participate (or hang out) at the local high school car show.
Date: Saturday, April 16, 2005
Place: Clear Brook High School, 4607 F.M. 2351, Friendswood, TX 77062
Time: Registration from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m., judging from 10:00 to 1:00, awards handed out around 1:30.
Cost: $20 per car in advance, $30 at the door the day of the show.
If you send me a PM letting me know you plan to attend (or even if you are thinking about attending) I can RSVP for you so the cost at the door will only be $20.
I plan to show up around 9:30 if it’s not raining. I will bring a canopy and set it up adjacent to the parking lot (next to the cars) for us to hang out under. If you plan to come, bring a folding chair. They will have food and drinks for sale but feel free to bring a cooler.
Money raised at the car show will benefit CBHS Projection Graduation 2005. This will be the third year they have held this show. It really is a pretty laid back little show and would more or less be a great opportunity for us to get-together and b-s for a few hours.
