Lights in Ashtray not working

My Cigarette lighter works fine & I've replaced both the bulbs but no lights work.

What should I check?

Is the dimmer turns all the way down?

bad bulb. no fuse for this. remove tray turn socket to the left pull out put new bulb


or..... ignore it as its useless anyway keep driving. ashtray door closed never see it anyway.

Nope, because my CCU & dash lights can be adjusted & even still, no lights on in my ashtray.

Can you test for continuity with a meter at the bulb's socket?

Ever removed you console in the past? If so take it back off and make sure that the light plug is hook up or in place like it should. I one time took everything apart to do my console when I put everything back together forgot to twist the light back I place. Had to take the console back off and do it.lol :tongue:

I agree with Caroline-NSX it might not be plugged in when you take the center console off there are 2 plugs near there one for the A/C sensor and the power for the cig light that would be the only thing

Console had been taken out many times before.
I tested with a multimeter everything looked fine.

I only had 1 new LED bulb installed, must have been defective since the next one worked.
